Dimenco: New spatial visualization for simulated reality @ CES 2022

Dimenco holographic displayWhen you think of the future, what comes to mind? For many people, it’s images of advanced technology and futuristic inventions. Dimenco is one company that is working to make the future a reality. They are focused on spatial visualization, in other words, making holograms a reality. This is something that has been dreamed about for years, but Dimenco is making it happen right now. With their cutting-edge software and hardware, they are changing the way we experience simulated reality.

What is the SR Display?

The Dimenco SR Display is the latest development in spatial visualization. So, what exactly does that mean? Well, the result is a high-resolution, fast display that creates realistic three-dimensional images without the need for wearing glasses. This makes it perfect for use in simulated reality applications, right on your own device.

We spoke to Dimenco’s CEO, Maarten Tobias at CES 2022 to get a better understanding and a demo. And we will say, it’s true that you have to see it to believe it. This 3D image w/out glasses is accomplished by adding an optical layer in front of your computer display. And it’s not just a regular 3D display either, but more of a 3D perspective. It does this by adding in the feature of actually tracking your eyes. So when you move your head, the 3D image moves right along with you, as it does in the real world.

The display is quite impressive in action. It can create a holographic effect that is so realistic, it’s hard to tell it’s not actually a three-dimensional object. In addition, the SR Display is very fast – allowing for smooth and seamless animations. It can be used for 3D models, within games and it is even useful for engineering applications.

The technology brings the vision of the Nintendo 3DS to life without the technological limitations of that device. With Dimenco’s SR Display, users can explore simulated reality without having to wear any special equipment.

Some of the benefits of using Dimenco technology include fast, rich, and natural three-dimensional experiences, with no wearables required. And the application unites hardware, software, and technology to deliver the best possible experience

Who is the Dimenco SR Display for?

The Dimenco SR Display is for anyone who wants to experience simulated reality. This includes businesses, educators, developers, and consumers. Dimenco is making it possible for everyone to experience the future.

What is Dimenco?

Inspired by a future filled with holograms like in Blade Runner, Iron Man, and Minority Report, we’re taking simulated reality out of the realm of science fiction, and turning it into fact.

With its origins in Royal Philips Electronics, Dimenco prides itself as being the leader in the spatial visualization market since 2010. Per their website, they aim to push the boundaries to achieve their dream of simulated reality – one of the world’s biggest developments in 3D. In a nutshell, they create technology that allows us to experience holograms – something that has been dreamed about for years. With their cutting-edge software and hardware, Dimenco is changing the way we experience simulated reality.

Summary

The prospect of bringing holographic technology right to our very own laptops is seriously exciting. We hope you enjoy this interview as much as we did! Don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section and to learn more, make sure to visit their Website.

KONO SHOU: the Eye-catching Display That Attracts Consumers @ CES 2022

KONO SHOU Holographic DisplayIf you’re looking for an attention-grabbing display that will help increase sales and attract consumers, look no further than KONO’s SHOU! This unique device is perfect for any business wanting to make a big impression. Its eye-catching design is sure to grab the attention of passersby, and its waterproof construction makes it perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

What is the KONO SHOU?

The KONO SHOU is a unique device that was created to help businesses increase sales and attract consumers. It’s known for its eye-catching display that grabs a consumer’s attention inside and outside of stores, as well as at trade shows or pop-up events. There are two versions of the device: one which can be controlled by Bluetooth with an app and an advanced model that can be centrally controlled nationwide through telecommunication networks using NB-IoT.

How Does the KONO SHOU Work?

The base technology for this product has been around for a long time. Theme parks have offered a rudimentary version of the tech for years. They came in the form of a spinning device onto which you could program words and short phrases. When you spin the device around, the LEDs on the front would light up in the right frequencies to spell out whatever you had entered. That is the same general idea here.

There are obviously a few major differences. The first is that you are not required to spin a device in your hand. Instead, the LED matrix exists on a pair of fan blades that spin on their own using a motor. The second major difference is that the LEDs are not on the tip of the fan blades, but across the entire front. This gives the device the ability to create large, uninterrupted images.

The third major difference between the KONO SHOU and the devices from theme parks and fairs is that the LEDs can change colors. In the past, they were generally only available in red. With these devices, they can change on the fly, giving the image designer a lot more flexibility in what they want to produce.

The fourth and most important difference is that it’s not just static words and phrases that can be shown across the display. Instead, you can show images and animations as well. When paired with its large size, this makes for an incredible visual – animated items literally floating in the air.

Who is KONO SHOU for?

The KONO SHOU is for any business that wants to make a big impression. Its eye-catching design is sure to grab the attention of passersby, and its waterproof construction makes it perfect for indoor or outdoor use. Whether you’re looking for a way to increase sales at your store or want to draw in more customers at a trade show or pop-up event, the KONO SHOU is a great solution!

Summary

The KONO SHOU is expected to be available at the end of February 2022. To learn more about the product or to contact them about purchasing one, head to the company’s website.

Displair Lets You Play with Air and a Screen at the Same Time

Displair - Play with Air
Displair – Play with Air
One of the most interesting and unique technologies we saw at Eureka Park at CES came from Displair. This company is the inventor of the first interactive airborne display, by the same name, complete with multi-touch support. This is perfect for anybody doing advertising, promotional campaigns or anything else that needs the “cool” factor. The best thing about Displair is that the image stays totally penetrable for physical objects. For example, we got to see a demo of Fruit Ninja and were able to slash those fruits into oblivion by slicing through the screen. This is a really great product that you’ve just got to see to get it.

Multi-User, Multi-Touch LCDs

The MultiTouch company has launched a new multitouch platform for large-scale LCDs. These are multiuser and multitouch LCDs ranging from 32 to 100 inches.

The unit in this video consists of three 46 inch LCDs, stacked together. The video shows a demo of photos and videos floating around the LCDs that allow user interaction. You can drag and resize the objects and even play, stop, and rewind the video objects. All three LCDs were controlled by a single PC.

Typical uses for this interactive display technology is in retail shops, lobbies, museums, and many other places where user interaction is needed.
