USB wireless has just taken another leap – moving material from your PC, and streaming it in realtime to the flatscreen. Wireless USB from EZ-Air Wireless provides a range of 30 feet within the same room. For business applications, multiple sessions can be run in adjacent rooms without interference, with distribution restricted to the room. Two modes are supported; mirror mode which duplicates the laptop screen, and extended, which allows you to browse separately on the laptop while the movie streams to the flatscreen.

Brainwave Duel from Mattel’s Mindflex

Strapping on the mind control headband, Andy McCaskey goes head to head with the demonstrator in the Mattel booth at CES2011, Mattel offers a new layout for the toy that was introduced at CES several years ago. The system operates with biofeedback from the headband sensors, being directed to the control of a small fan that elevates a foam ball, and moves it along the track.

Over the Top Video was all over  the CES 2011 show, but the folks from Hillcrest Labs know that many don’t want to jump in and buy a set top box without dipping their toe in the water. Thus, the HDMI cables, video adapters, and hardware to allow them to test out video to their flatscreen from their regular laptop or tower system.
