Amps & Watts Bluetooth Speakers with Power for Mobile Devices

Harry brought several different designs by the booth to show off. Among them, small personal bluetooth speakers that are portable and can be taken anywhere in a pocket or a bag. He also brought in a desktop model with powerful sound drivers and bluetooth connectivity.

Chug Plug Battery Backup for Macbook Air and Pro Laptops at CES

LenmarLenmar is known for their Undead Power batteries for mobile devices. Now they have come out with a new battery for 13 inch Macbook Pros and the Macbook Air laptop computers. The Chug Plug is a battery specifically designed to connect to the snap-together computer power supply plugs in Apple Macbook laptops. Jenny Simpson from Lenmar Enterprises joins Tech Podcast Network hosts Chris Montera, the Geekymedic and Jamie Davis, the Podmedic to tell them about this new battery technology.

The Chug Plug will give an additional 4 hours or so to your laptop’s battery life so that when you’re on the go, you don’t have to go without your laptop because of a dying battery. The Chug Plug is a “Smart Battery” which means that it can pass through charge when plugged into the wall and if the wall doesn’t provide enough power for some reason, the Chug Plug will use battery power to supplement AC, if needed.

HeartMath Gives You iOS Insight Into Managing Your Stress

A $4.5 Million Lamborghini Get Monster Audio Treatment at CES

lamborghini-cars-logo-emblemSpecialist audio systems installer Jaramy Kaufman from Findlay Customs got the chance to cut in to a $4.5 million Lamborghini to install a top of the line Monster audio system. He wanted to double check, as you might expect, that he was allowed to cut into the door panels of this car. Just the door panel alone was worth more than his own car. The answer was yes and he went on to install the perfect pure Monster sound system in the car making it the perfect car audio sound system.

There are 13 total speakers in the car including separate left and right stereo speakers for the passenger and driver seats. Jaramy wanted to make it seem as if you had headphones on while riding in this car listening to your favorite music. Each person in this two-seater car gets their own customized listener experience from Monster Audio. There are only 7 of these Lamborghini sports cars in existence and this one has the perfect custom audio system installed in it.

YubiKey from Yubico Gives You Quick Secure Access to Your Sensitive Information

Yubico is working with the FIDO alliance and U2 tokens to give you web security for your access to a variety of sensitive web materials. The user has a secure user-name and password along with physical USB token, the YubiKey.

The YubiKey can be used with your computers or smartphone. For use in a computer, you can just plugin the USB key into the computer’s USB ports to gain access to your sensitive passwords and usernames. For smartphones, the YubiKey utilizes NFC (Near Field Communications) technology to talk to your smartphone and allow you to surf the web safely. The device offers seamless authentication to your sensitive information online.

The YubiKey is available now on their website Yubico.com and connects with services like LastPass to give you true two factor secure identification and login. It’s available there for $25. The upgraded FIDO enabled version will be coming soon.

iMedicpac Helps Monitor Family Members with Many Medications at CES

imedipac1The iMedipac is a connected pill box device which will help individuals on multiple medications better manage their med regimen. Chris Montera, the Geekymedic, guest host for Health Tech Weekly joined the rest of the TPN.tv team at CES this year to help cover health technology. The iMedipac is just the type of connected home health device we’re looking for.

A Pharmacy would prepare the weekly or monthly pill selection for the individual which is organized in specially designed blister pack. When the blister pack is inserted into the iMedipac device it then electronically tracks medications when they’re taken and sends a message when pills are taken, identifying whether the correct medication was taken and when it was taken.

The iMedicpac is currently in U.S. Food and Drug Administration review and will eventually retail for $250. There will also be an $8 to $10 monthly charge to monitor the medications and compliance via iMedipac’s secure online servers. This is the perfect solution for helping to monitor family members at a distance and make sure they’re taking their medications.
