Get Ready for the Most Awesome Electric Scooter

Ujet ScootersRide comfortably with the new stylish and efficient Ujet. The Ujet is a fantastic city and urban vehicle that is incredibly lightweight. This electric scooter has the ability to travel 90 miles on a single charge.

But this is in no way your typical electric scooter. For example, the seat serves as a detachable battery pack that conveniently rolls around like a piece of standup luggage. This technology makes it very easy to take the seat/power supply inside to charge. This is also a fantastic security solution as it is impossible to ride the scooter away when the seat is detached.

The Ujet also has the fabulous ability to fold up to a very compact size making it easy to store in small spaces, such as the corner of a garage or hidden under the stairwell of an apartment building.

Pricing for Ujet starts at $8900 USD, making it an affordable and cost effective alternative vehicle. There is also a version with the larger battery that costs $9990 USD.

Omron is A New Breed of Smartwatch, With a Medical Focus

Omron HealthcareA new breed of smartwatch, elevating the playing field of consumer expectations from current industry norms to include accurate heart readings. This is how CEO Ranndy Kellogg introduced Omron’s latest offering to the smartwatch market. Smartwatches have steadily been gaining more and more popularity with consumers in today’s market. The digital display, along with the number of very convenient and popular options, have been important factors in their rise in popularity. Also, users can download compatible apps for their smartphones which allows them to track and monitor their progress has also been an important factor as well.

This is the current staple of the market, and nothing particularly novel, which is exactly what Omron hopes to change with their new addition to the field. Omron a leader in cardiovascular monitoring equipment is now introducing their FDA-approved heart monitoring equipment into their latest offering in smartwatch world. This cutting edge watch includes the same inflatable band that is in the classic blood pressure cuff found in doctor’s offices all over the world, but takes the same technology and minimizes it to fit into the band of the watch itself. Omron’s new gadget is able to take Accurate and Systolic and Diastolic readings, as well as actual EKG readings.

Now, that may not seem like much of a big deal to a non fitness watch enthusiast, but this is an evolutionary step in gaining access to accurate biometric readings instantly and on the go. This paves the way for more accurate, readily-available readings straight from our bodies, given as feedback in response to whatever physical activities we decide to participate in. Fitness watches now, when calibrated properly, will do little more than give you best guess numbers regarding: steps taken, calories burned and total distance walked. Many consumers are big fans of what the average fitness watch can do now, but this new tech hitting the market gives those with existing heart problems, adrenaline-junkies or anyone out there who also is interested in biometric feedback data a lot to be excited for. Oh, don’t forget, you can browse the net, make or take calls, text, review calendar events, and I’m pretty sure it tells the time too.

CES 2018 Planned Coverage Announcement

Tech Podcast Networks CES 2018 coverage is going to be a huge departure from previous years. This year the TPN team made up of shows you love and trust will have our broadcast booth at the Sands Expo. What we have found is that startup space, and vendors in that building alone are more aligned with what our teams and audience have come to expect from us. CES has grown so massive it is impossible with the 25 people on the ground to cover it all. The TPN team will be broadcasting from the Sands Exposition center the full four days of the show and to our knowledge, we will be the only group that will have a dedicated broadcast center in that hall.

This means a big change for the vendors who have been accustomed to come seeing us in the North Hall at LVCC. We will only have a small number of folks roaming that will be covering specific areas of LVCC and the surrounding lots. But this opens up a huge opportunity to all the startups that found it hard to come see us in the past at LVCC. This will also give us access to the Sands second-floor vendors who are introducing innovative products on their own.

New this year will be our roving live team that will transmit back to our broadcast booth to our viewing audience allowing us to broadcast directly from the vendor’s booths. Broadcast appearance application open!
